Lunch at Cozy In The Rocket & Steamboat Buffet Dinner at 壹锅豊

I had "rush" lunch with 3 of my colleagues during today lunch time. I fetched them for lunch at a further place from our office compared with the places we usually go. We had our lunch at the newly opened cafe in the town, named as Cozy In The Rocket. Is the name sounds special and cute? Wonder why they use this as their name, is there any special meaning for the shop? Or?

As told by my friend, it's actually the new name & image for Amelia Cafe which was a cafe located at Lebuh Armenian and already closed few months ago. It's the cafe that Nicole and I wanted to go for a very long time~ We felt sad months ago when we haven't try out their food and drinks yet and got to know that Amelia Cafe was closed, but now, it's the opportunity for us!!! That's the reason we went there this afternoon. No excuse to loss the chances again~

Okay, back to the topic ^^ We had our lunch at Cozy In The Rocket today, a cafe with high expectation after reading a lot of good reviews and compliments in the webs and blogs. The environment in the cafe is comfortable and got the feeling at home ^^ The shop decorated with a lot of historical tools which we used in our life many years ago~ Antique tools~ Wonder how people can keep all the things till today, or it's actually bought from antique shop? o.O  Besides, a lot of cutie drawings are presented in the cafe~ *like*

As read too much of reviews and introductions, we know that their famous food is more to spaghetti..... and we end up ordered all spaghetti with different styles and flavours. Haha! For drinks, I ordered Iced Mocha ^^ The drinks served in a "jam" mug together with the cutie cup coaster, like it very much ^^ I would like to have all these handmade things in my shop as well in future ^^ My spaghetti with bacon and asparagus taste good, but not to say very good as I put a very high expectation on them already :P I prefer to have more sauce~ Nicole's carbonara is special with the fresh egg on top when served. Taste nice~

After the main course, dessert is Must! We had our favourite Panna Cotta again. Happy to try another panna cotta in my food hunting list ^^ Their panna cotta served with passion fruit sauce... The passion fruit sauce taste yummy ^^ Overall, the panna cotta taste nice with the accomplishment of the special sauce. For me, I prefer the panna cotta at Campbell House or LightHouse but the sauce in Cozy. Haha! Nothing is perfect~ Anyway, enjoyed the lunch this afternoon although it's quite rush. A bit out of expectation as we put high expectation on it~ Will visit them again~

At night, I went for steamboat buffet dinner with bigger group of colleagues at I-Steamboat City. The steamboat there is special with it's individually steamboat style. Each of us got our own pot and soup. Their duck & tom yam soup taste delicious ^^ I like it! The buffet cost us only RM19 for each person where we bought it via groupon, drinks is not included. There are some normal steamboat food for buffet choices but meat slices and other special food are not included, need special order. Pay more, eat better ^^ Overall, it's yummy....... will go again next time ^^ Had a great moments with them again~

Handmade of The Month *Apr* - Big Purse

It's been a very long time since my last post for handmade item, it's too busy recently & tired as well for these 2 months. I have no much time to do my handmade, feel so sorry and sad about that.  Or it's actually the reason for my laziness? o.O It's time to go on in my handmade life~

Let's introduce a new product which sew previously and it's finally done. It's a Blue Sailor Purse! It's a big purse suitable for lady when going for outing ^^ You can carry it to go out with your friends when shopping, can use it as your big make up pouch as well~ Just depends on how you want it to be ^^ 

The big purse made using linen cotton with Blue Sailor theme, inner fabric is using flowery cotton fabric. It's nice and vogue to hold it on your hand when outing~ Besides, it's convenient too as it's able to put in a lot of little stuffs like your mobile, your long purse, tissues, make up accessories and so on...... Penang Hill 1 Day Trip & Afternoon Tea at David Brown's Sky Terrance

At first, I planned to have a Pre- Celebration for my dear today during our 1 Day Trip to Bukit Bendera, Penang. It's my 3rd time to Bukit Bendera after having the new cable car there, and it's dear's 1st visit to Bukit Bendera. I feel so happy with our 1 Day Trip today as I enjoyed the moments with my dear and his friends, Peter & Mei Xin.

We reached Penang Hill around 11.00am and we walked around before having the famous ABC Ice Kacang there. The ice kacang taste nice but I still prefer the traditional style with Gula Melaka. We didn't go to the Owl musuem there. I like the feeling standing at the top and looking at the nice sceneries down there~ Feel relax when you close you eyes and feel the wind...... *Imagination*Freedom*Life*Happy*

Happy 1 Day Trip at Bukit Bendera, Penang

With my new flats, I was unable to walk too much and too fast. So, dear suggested to take the Car Tour which cost us RM30 per car for 25mins tour to southview there. The tour is nice and it's happy & comfortable to sit on the car ^^ Feel the freedom on the car.... Close to the environment *Like* Besides, the driver uncle also gave us some introduction for the buildings near by.... Thanks dear for his understanding & love ^^

We stopped at the Monkeycup Garden 猪笼草园, Penang Hill while on the way back to the car tour starting point. Haha! The monkeycup, called as Pitcher Plant as well. The monkeycup garden is another natural environment to be visited. The garden contains 100 over species of pitcher plants which included hybrid species and the natural one. There are some other plants and flowers as well in the garden. A wonderful trip which close to the natural ^^

An uncle introduced and provide details & explanations about the pitcher plants all the way for our visit to the garden. He showed us the different species of the pitcher plants. It's a good experience and lesson to me *Enjoy*Happy*Like*Natural*Learnt*Knowledge*

Then, we had our afternoon tea at David Brown's Sky Terrance Cafe. We ordered potato wedges, a Smoke House Afternoon Tea Set and Iced Chocolate drinks. The scone is delicious but I prefer the Cameron Highlands Smoke House's scone set although the set is quite similar >.< May be the taste, the cream, or the environment is slightly different >.< Quite like their wedges cause it's the pure potatoes *Yummy* We left Bendera Hill at 3.30pm and headed to 1st Avenue for movie - Oblivion. Don't really like this movie, just a bit admire on the high-technology parts in the movie.

Penang Heritage 1 Day Trip & Lunch Time at Soul Kitchen

I had a date with Nicole today from morning to evening just now cause I asked her to bring me go for "Gai Gai 走走" at Penang. In the morning, Nicole came to fetch me at 10.00am and we went to Pulau Tikus area for our late breakfast. She recommended some delicious and famous food there for me like Curry Mee, Wan Tan Mee, Jawa Mee and so on.

I ordered Curry Mee, Nicole ordered Jawa Mee (Fried Version) & Roti Babi. OMG! The fried jawa mee is very delicious *Yummy* Curry Mee also not bad ^^ The Roti Babi taste nice when eating once served,  especially when it is still hot, fresh. After the full breakfast, Nicole brought me to walk around at town area for my survey purpose. We went for our lunch at Soul Kitchen after 2 hours of walking around >.< Soul Kitchen, another new place for 2 of us. The design and decoration of the cafe is more to simple & modern, feel very comfortable especially the way they serve their customers, friendly ^^ Besides, the overall interior design is special with the wall's scenery ^^ Wonder it's actually a wallpaper or painting in fact..... *Vintage*Nice*Like*

As we were still full so we just ordered some food for sharing. We ordered a pizza with 2 different flavours combination. Nicole ordered Orang Juice and I ordered Ice Lemon Tea. The drinks are just normal and the pizza is special and nice with it's crunchy biscuit based. The pizza taste delicious but I think it will be more delicious if more cheese on top >.< *I am a Cheese Lover*We are Cheese Lovers*

Accidentally, I saw their dessert *Panna Cotta with Cinnamon & Orange* & *Creme Caramel* on their menu board. Haha! So? We ordered and tasted their Panna Cotta. The Panna Cotta is quite special because it's orange flavour instead of vanilla flavour which we usually eat, but I'm not in love with the Cinnamon, luckily I still can accept the taste which served only a little bit of the Cinnamon powder. Besides, the texture is too soft compared with others, even mine. Overall, satisfied with my lunch at Soul Kitchen ^^ *Like*

Then, Nicole brought me to walk around at Penang Heritage areas and we were looking for the famous paintings for photography and memories. We took pictures from one to another one, happy with all the painting and photography ^^ After that, we went to 姓氏桥 for the same purpose as well. Really admire all the paintings by those artists, they present the painting in a very nice way ^^ *Love*Nice*Special*Attractive*

Beside these, we went for another late lunch for Laksa & O Geo Ice. Met my sis and her friends from CH during Laksa Time ^^ Then, we went to Starbuck Drive-Tru for Frappuccino before Nicole sending me back to my house. Haha! I feel so happy and lucky to have this friend aka colleague...... Thanks Nicole for everything! Happy Dating & Shopping with My Dear

As last week we didn't see each other and quite a long time we didn't go for dating, Dear promised to bring me for dating and shopping today. We went to 1st Avenue around lunch time and had our lunch at Prangin Mall. 

We went for a 3D movie *G.I.Joe*, the movie is not bad ^^ Besides, we went for shopping and I'm very happy with my today's shopping trophies as already long time no shopping, last shopping was the preparation for Chinese New Year..... Hehe! In fact, I wanted to buy 4-5 pairs of heels instead of 2 now >.< Too much already.... Haha! Wait for my next shopping hunting. Have a good day today with my dear. What a Tension Week? *Bad Experience*I Learnt*

I feel so bad for this whole week as I really can't sleep well after that kind of incident. I feel so tension, so worry, so scared and my mind is actually not dare to rest nor let me sleep because it will remind me the incident and keep on telling me that I must be alert and careful when sleeping, can't sleep like a pig >.< Must alert with the special sound~

I feel so tension this whole week and easily get shocked for every little things. I think I have to relax my mind and adjust my thinking and let it back to normal and my previous 安全感. Haha! Anyway, I learnt quite a lot too from this incident, let it be a part of my life experiences *Be Alert*Be Careful*

April Fool *Fire At Upper Unit*

What a shock for this year April Fool?!!! My upper unit got fire this early morning around 6 - 6.30am and I had to run down to safe myself with the fastest motion from the dangerous situation. I was scared!!! Very scared!!! Felt like crying... I want my family and dear very much! Faster called them when I reached a safety place...... Luckily my housemates are with me~

I really feel so sad and scared. I wonder why there is no alarm ringing to inform every residences and wonder why there is not much of safety facilities available... I really worried and I realised that all these things need to be fixed and ready before accident is happened like just now. We should always 为雨绸缪.

At the same time, I worried that Bomba will assume it's only a Joke for them during this April Fool... luckily there is good people gave their helping hands to safe the situation before the arrival of Bomba. From this incident, I just feel that I want to appreciate every people and every moments in my life.... I will! *Learnt*Appreciate*Life*Be Alert*Be Careful*Common Knowledge*

Specially thanks to my dear for coming at once to calm down me and the warm breakfast after getting my call. Thanks ^^ It's great and better when listening to my dear parents and dear's voice ^^ Tomorrow will be another good day~
