Dinner With The Girls At PiKniK

Yup!!! My long holiday is ended and I'm back to work....

I hope that I can get some new ideas in life after the China trip and clear with my wishes & targets in working life after all.....

Long time didn't see my colleagues, had dinner with the girls after working hours tonight ^^ We were heading to the cafe named "PikniK" around 7pm. 

It's a good environment cafe with home feeling decoration, specially love their pillow decoration ^^ Colourful & Warm~ Besides, I love some of their wall painting design & the special blue colour there. We ordered a spaghetti, puff, one of their famous waffles & some drinks. While waiting for the food and drinks to be served, as usual.... I was busy taking all the pictures of the environment in piknik, it's a nice place for chit chat with the girls & friends. Besides, I was busy asking about the special cases & life in the office while I was in holiday.... as well as sharing the happy moments of my China trip. 

Long time didn't talk with them and we had a wonderful gossiping moments tonight. The spaghetti taste nice. For the bacon waffle & pie, looks special & taste not bad too. Enjoy my dinner and chatting time with the girls tonight, perhaps more cafe hunting is coming soon ^^

Mummy Homemade Mee 面粉糕

After so many days of eating acidic food, it's time to get some simple homemade for my stomach.... to neutralize it. Haha!

Feel so warm today with mummy's homemade mee, just some simple mee hun kuih together with the healthy vegetable soup, it taste yummy! We are able to eat more than 2 bowls every time mummy cook this ^^ Happy eating~ Thanks mummy ^^

Yunnan, China Trip - Day 5 to Day 8

Hey Guys! Shared about Day 1 to Day 4 of my Yunnan, China Trip during my previous post, now is the 2nd post for my Day 5 to Day 8 ^^

China is a good place for travelling, you will learn and know a lot of things in this world which you never know ^^ I love travelling, love to visit every countries in this world to know more and see more.....

Recording is a way of keeping all these special memories ^^ Sharing is another wonderful thing in life~ I love sharing~

Day 5 (19 Oct 2013)

Woke up 6.30am and had breakfast before heading to Shangrila, Yunnan. We started our long journey at 8.00am this morning. Today will be a super long bus journey.... Yup! Shangrila, a lovely name & place in my mind, because of the impression of Shangrila hotel? Haha..... perhaps.

Anyway, I really wonder and excited for this trip. While on the way from Dali to Shangrila, we can see a lot of villages along the journey, with all the natural sceneries, totally out of city~ back to the natural environment. We went to a small tower at Jinsha in the noon time and stopped there for washroom. Hahah! We were able to see the beautiful scenery on the top of the tower, 万里长江第一湾. It's beautiful! I can feel the peaceful life there ^^

We were actually closer to our coming destination, Yu Long Snow Mountain, but it takes many hours and long journey to reach there. It's not an easy trip >.< Bought some snacks there and continued our long journey to Shangrila.

We stopped at a restaurant while on the way to 虎跳峡. The meal in the afternoon is just very simple, but nice with it's simplicity, may be we were too hungry already? Haha. After the lunch, we were heading to Tiger Leaping Gorge 虎跳峡，another destination in our schedule, It's also a special place to visit in Yunnan. It's one of the deepest and most spectacular river canyons in the world, a Must visit place ^^ According to our tour guide, there is a big stone on the middle of the rivers between the mountains. There was a tiger jumped from one mountain to another mountain by stepping on the big stone..... and hence it's named as Tiger Leaping Gorge. It's actually a dangerous bus journey from our way to this place as the bus was driving along the side of those mountains. Luckily we are~

In the evening time, we finally reached Shangrila and we are very very lucky to see the double rainbows while on our way to the town of Shangrila ^^ Once we reached the town of Shangrila, we were visited their cultural village, 香格里拉独克宗古城. There is a world largest 转经筒 located in this place and it needs 30 people to turn it. It's awesome!

At night, we rest earlier and prepared ourself for tomorrow journey in Shangrila ^^ Happy that I'm finally in Shangrila~

Day 6 (20 Oct 2013)

We had our breakfast early morning and left for the largest Tibetan temple in Yunnan, Song Zhang Lin Monastery 松赞林寺. The temple itself is awesome! We went in for praying and got to know more about it's history. The scenery outside of the temple is beautiful as well.

After the awesome tour to the temple, we were heading to the Zhang Zu 藏族 's home for cultural visit ^^ We got the chance to visit their big house together with trying their daily meal, Qing Ke 青稞, powder type and liquor..... I love the trip like this, 入乡随族.

We had our lunch and left for Li Jiang 丽江 around 12.30pm. We reached Li Jiang at 4pm and the first place is to visit their Li Jiang Gu Cheng 丽江古城. Wow! I love this place! Full with the cultural feeling ^^ Can see a lot of local art and crafts ^^ Love the way they present their buildings ^^ Lovely! I wish I can take my pre-wedding pictures here in future.... with the wonderful & beautiful sceneries~

At night, we had local dinner ^^ Enjoy the moments of happiness & sharing with all the uncles aunties, Mingz & parents as well. I love you all~

Day 7 (21 Oct 2013)

As usual, we woke up at 6.30am and prepared ourself. We left hotel around 8am. Today's destination is the one we waiting for during the whole trip, Snow Mountain ^^ We went to Li Jiang Dragon Jade Snow Mountain 玉龙雪山 around 8.30am and we were all very excited! In order to visit this mountain, your health must be stable and in good conditions, only you can stand when going up to the mountain with different level of pressure.

They suggested us to buy Oxygen Spray while going up to the mountain. We didn't buy as still feel good before going up and have confident with our own that morning ^^ Haha! We went up to 4506m of the mountain by the cable car and moving up to the top level by our own. It's cold!!! I love the weather and scenery there, we were very lucky again as the scenery that moment is clear and beautiful, so that we could capture a lot of nice view ^^

The funniest thing on the snow mountain is that we were all need to take off our glove before helping each other to capture pictures because we need to use our hands to touch the screen >.< Bad thing here for touch screen ! Haha!

After sometime of walking up in cold weather, we finally reached the top of the mountain, 4680m. Yeah!!!! Daddy Mummy & Mingz! We all did that! Haha! So happy when we reached the top ^^ I am very happy to be there with my family, happiest trip!

We gone down from the mountain and went for the show there, a show with hundred people as presenter. Giant! After the snow mountain, we went to visit few interesting places in Li Jiang, cultural places ^^

Day 8 (22 Oct 2013)

It's our Day 8 in Yunnan, I believed I will start missing the cultural village in Li Jiang, I wish I will go again one day, as well as Shangrila. This morning, we went to Can Nuo company to know more about the Natural Spirulina 天然螺旋藻. Again, our people spent a lot of money there for the Natural Spirulina, haha! For health purpose again~

After that, we were heading back to Da Li 大理, again..... few hours of bus journey. Eat & Sleep in the bus until we reached Da Li for lunch ^^ Then, we went to 金花妹 's home for cultural visit & Da Li Stone Factory 大理石厂 to see the beautiful stones originated from Da Li. Then, we went to visit the 大理国拍摄景点.

In the evening time, we went for shopping again! Shop for Silver this time!!! OMG, the ladies' shopping paradise ^^ After spending a lot of money, we went for dinner in the hotel. Then, online in the room with Mingz as Mingz not feeling well that night. Perhaps he didn't buy silver yet....wahahah!

There is 5 famous things in Yunnan, which is Silver, Da Li Stone, Chinese Tea, Herbs & Natural Spirulina. We went for all, a wonderful Yunnan Trip ^^

Yup! It's come to the Day 8 of my Yunnan Trip and I really start missing the wonderful place in Yunnan, beautiful sceneries there ^^ Hope I will go again one day in future~

Yunnan, China Trip - Day 9 to Day 10

Hey guys ^^

It's my 3rd post as well as last post for my October 2013 China Yunnan Trip sharing......

I start missing the beautiful sceneries in China, Shangrila & so on.......

I love travelling & I will go for more trips in future to discover more about the world .

Now, it's time for sharing my last 2 days in Yunnan, it should be short and simple as it's come to the end of the trip. I did get a lot of special & unexpected experiences during this wonderful trip. Another important happy reason during this trip is the accompanies ^^

Day 9 (23 Oct)

Jewellery is never enough for lady ^^ It's true, just like "there is never be enough bags for lady". Aunties complained and regret that they didn't buy the enough numbers of silver jewellery that day in silver accessories shop.... so they requested to visit the same shop again for more silver jewellery before going back to Yunnan. Hence..... we were there again! I can't really imagine how they shop for the jewellery.... it's terrible!!! o.O I'm not their level yet....although I love to shop.... ^^

After lunch, we were heading back to the Yunnan town and it's a long long journey day. We had fun in the bus during the whole journey, eating, walking, chatting....and buying as well.... Stopped almost every station to buy food and drinks & souvenirs. I bought few books about marketing too.... hopefully I got time to read when I back to Malaysia ^^

Before the dinner at Swan Restaurant, we went for shower time in the hotel at Yunnan. We had a birthday celebration for Uncle KFC, wish he always happy and healthy ^^ The cake is yummy and the candles are cutie! Everyone had a full dinner there.... Slept tight that night Zzz...

Day 10 (24 Oct)

It's our last day in Yunnan for our Yunnan trip! We just went to the largest wholesaler shopping mall at Yunnan for different kinds of wholesale products, bought some sweaters there. Some of the things are not that wholesale too.... quite pricey as well, may be the quality is different.... Anyway, I just know that the power bank is very cheap! or I should say compared with the market price in our country, it's considered cheap.... because all of us bought a total number of 10 power banks there. Haha~ Happy Shopping!

We had lunch before departing back to Kuala Lumpur..... I'm going to miss the peaceful life in Shangrila & Li Jiang. We reached KL at late night and heading for Bak Kut Teh while on the way back to hometown & we reached home in the midnight time.


OVERALL, it's a happy & wonderful trip in Yunnan, China, perhaps you guys will visit it one day too! It's worth for your life ^^ A Wonderful Experience as well!

Yunnan, China Trip - Day 1 to Day 4

Hey guys! I'm back from my Yunnan, China Trip yesterday night ^^ I had a wonderful and awesome trip with my family for 2 weeks time, it's a wonderful memories for my travelling life. I got to enjoy a lot of unexpected experiences during this trip, thanks my parents very much, love you! Love Mingz too!

Okay, now it's the time for sharing ^^

Let me do a summary of 3 posts for my Yunnan Trip 云南之旅.

Day 1 (15 Oct 2013)

We started our bus journey from Cameron to Kuala Lumpur early morning. We reached airport around noon time and we had lunch before departure. The flight was started around 1pm and we arrived Yunnan 云南, China around 4.30pm. Yup! It's cool there! We can feel the cool weather once we stepped out from the plane >.< The tour guide from China, Xiao Sun was waiting to pick us for our dinner, but we had to take around 2 hours journey to reach the restaurant for dinner >.< Luckily mummy is clever, prepared some breads and snacks for us during our journey, love mummy! You are the best! ^^

We reached the restaurant around 7pm and had our dinner within 30 minutes time. Frankly speaking, I'm not really interested with the restaurant itself, may be I really judge it by it's cover..... It made me feel a bit disappointed for this trip at first >.< I was wonder about the following days of the trip before the dinner....

After having the dinner, there are people selling their Chinese Painting, it's nice and beautiful, especially for those flowers and painting with sceneries..... They priced it in auction way..... haha! Uncles and aunties bought few small and big paintings there..... Shopping started..... >.<

We left for hotel at Jiu Xiang 九乡, Yunnan after that. Hmmm..... hotel is just so so and wireless is only available at lobby!!! How am I going to contact with my dear and siblings? Really OMG.... Mingz and I went to online at their lobby after shower. Had a good night as already tired after the bus and plane journey for almost 1 day time......

Day 2 (16 Oct 2013)

Mingz and I woke up around 6.30am and prepared ourself for breakfast..... We were on time and we considered as late because all uncles and aunties were much more earlier >.< The breakfast is just so so and we left hotel around 7.30am ^^ Excited for the journey of the day~

Our first destination is quite near by our hotel, it's a special and wonderful place in Jiu Xiang, Kun Ming, it's STONE FOREST 石林. It's really an AMAZING natural place in the world! It's just a forest with all the stones, and it's name come from here. You can see a lot of different patterns and sizes of stones in this big forest. I really wonder how the stones grow in this big forest.... and why only this location? Wonder & Wonder~

We listened to the explanation of the history of this amazing forest from our personal tour guide. We walked around and took a lot of pictures during the trip.... I wish every trips in future can be having longer time for each location, so that I have enough time to listen to the history and capture pictures for memories.

Besides, we tried out their culture costume ^^ It's nice and lovely! All of us (ladies) wear on and took group pictures with the guys.... Happy moments ^^ I love it's red, love it's design. The costume is a culture costume for Ashima, lady in Jiu Xiang. Ashima, is the way we address lady in this area.

After that, we were heading to another amazing place in Yunnan, which is Jiu Xiang Scenic Region 九乡风景区. I don't know how big is this place and it's really very big.... it's a place with natural grow of stones, caves, mountains, deep valleys and rivers.... You will like it very much if you love natural environment. We all were went up and down to discover about this special place, I'm happy with this trip, together with my lovely family at this lovely natural environment. You let me see more, learn more and know more~

After that, we went for lunch which take us 2 hours journey to reach there~ What I know is that, China is very very very big ^^ All of us were tired of up and down just now, so we were enjoy our lunch ^^ like their duck.... Yummy!!! Guo Qiao Mian Xian 过桥面线 is special though, because it's my first time for it. We need to add in all the ingredients and mee into the soup before eating.

After the full lunch, we went to Bao Shu Tang 宝树堂 for a simple foot spa. We listened to the briefing for their company products while having our free spa.... Yup! Our shopping started here! Mummy bought a lot things here, same to those uncles and aunties~ I wonder, why they were saying "We won't spend a lot of money during this trip, no need to bring so much because there is nothing to buy, only visit~". Haha~ Anyway, it's a famous company in China, selling a lot of products for health, should try out!

At night, we had our dinner at 银海酒楼, then rest in hotel ^^ We were all super tired especially the leg..... I know the reason why they always say that, if wanna visit China, must make it before you getting old and old~ The hotel tonight is special with it's washroom because Mingz can't see the washroom until he opened the curtain ^^ Slept tight that night >.<

Day 3 (17 Oct 2013)

This morning, we left our hotel around 8am after having simple breakfast. We reached our destination of the day around 10am, it's Dragon Gate 龙门 & Xishan Forest Park 西山风景区. The place is special and it's dangerous too while walking along the stones wall on the mountain. Wonder how the people were able to develop this place >.< We took some pictures there while busy listening to their introduction of the place.

We had our lunch around 1pm and it's a wonderful & yummy meal for all of us! The meat is too delicious and the way they served it in very thin slices..... OMG! Yummy! Thumbs up! After having our full lunch, we were heading to the temples near by.

At 3pm, we reached a place selling Chinese Tea. Wow! I got to know a lot of special knowledge about Chinese Tea here, and I learnt how to drink tea as well. The tea types, tea taste and everything about tea. The price of tea, can be priceless, depends on the way you judge it. Hahah!!!! I really can't imagine, we spent more than RMB 20 thousand here. Crazy already? >.< Anyway, happy is most important! Haha! Enjoy trip!

We had our dinner quite earlier tonight because we were going for the famous show in town at Shangrila Dynamic Yunnan 云南映像. The show is organized by famous artist in Yunnan, as well as international stage, 张丽萍. The show is really special and awesome! The way they present their cultural~ Enjoy it, like it! Especially the Peacock Dance 孔雀舞! Happy night ^^

Day 4 (18 Oct 2013)

For our Day 4 in Yunnan, we went for Chinese Herbs at their famous Chinese Herbs Shop. We got to know more about the chinese herbs like 田七，天麻，三七，冬虫草 and so on. Again, we spent a lot there..... Anywhere, it's for health, okay to go ahead~ Haha!

Then, we walked around at the near by town before having our lunch. After the lunch, we were having a long long journey to Dali 大理, our next destination. Sleep in the bus, chatting and eating in the bus too..... happy moments with all the funny uncles and aunties. We checked in hotel at night and had some drinks together in the hotel. Nice hotel full with cultural feels ^^ Love it!
